Callington Community College took part in the South West Schools Trampolining Championships held at Wellspring Leisure Centre, Taunton on Sunday 5th December. Trampolining is being developed as a sport at the college as part of our Sports College status and some of the twelve students that entered the competition have only been training for a short time ... read more and see photo


Callington Community College has just netted almost £1m to create one of the best sports facilities in the South West, thanks to the UK’s largest sports charity, the Football Foundation. The college has scored the £988,106 funding goal to create a floodlit artificial pitch, a full sized grass pitch complete with a modern changing pavilion ... read more

Y8 Top Set Mathematics

Y9 into Y10

U16 Girls Football

The U16 Girls' played Football on Tuesday 25th January against Devon County Champions. They won 2 - 0. They now go on to play either Gloucester or Dorset County Champions ... see photos

Y11 Parents - How you can help with GCSE Revision

We have a special talk to parents of Year 11 students on Wednesday 16th March at 7pm. The talk is by Dr Roy Paget and is concerned with “the role parents can play in supporting their child’s GCSE revision.”

The talk will last for about one hour and Dr Paget, is, by all accounts, a very good and interesting speaker. We do hope you can make this talk which starts at 7pm on Wednesday 16th March in the main college hall.

Last year instead of sending Christmas cards to each other the staff at Callington Community College donated the money to Children’s Hospice South West. Pictured are staff at the college presenting a cheque for £329.50 to Irene Dunster, Liskeard Group Chairman. It is hoped to expand on this idea next year by getting students involved as well.
